piCO+ piCO+

Low cost and visually motivational, the piCO+™ is a leader in a new generation of breath CO monitors. The monitor has user profiles for adult smokers, young smokers and pregnant women, as well the ability to easily create custom profiles when used alongside the COdata+™ PC software.
Motivational traffic light coloured LEDs display the users' carbon monoxide levels, while the lit liquid crystal display gives corresponding readings in single ppm* and %COHb**. The single-switch operation makes the piCO+™ incredibly easy to use.
The piCO+™ is lightweight and battery powered and combines the features of the original piCO and piCO-lo models, used throughout the world by health professionals working in smoking cessation programmes.
Breath CO levels are easily measured when patients blow into the monitor through single-use disposable mouthpieces. These cardboard mouthpieces are connected to the piCO+™ via a unique breath sampling D-piece, which incorporates a one-way valve and an infection control filter to address potential cross-contamination concerns.

Gastrolyzer Gastrolyzer

The Gastro+ is a portable hand-held breath hydrogen monitor that has been developed to aid in the detection of gastro-intestinal disorders such as carbohydrate intolerances and malabsorption, intestinal bacterial overgrowth and for determining intestinal transit time.

Hydrogen is generated in the intestinal lumen by bacterial action on carbohydrates in the large or small intestine. This resultant hydrogen diffuses into the blood stream and thence to the alveoli after which it can be detected in expiratory air. Instant and accurate measurement of hydrogen in parts per million (ppm) in expiratory air with the Gastro+ is a simple and affordable alternative to offline testing or invasive procedures such as biopsies.

A colour touch-screen with graphics driven user interface, built-in maintenance reminders and incorporated anti-bacterial filter and one-way valve ensure that the Gastro+ is user and patient friendly as well as safe and reliable.

Features

  • Low cost with instant results.
  • Range of sampling systems for adult and paediatric testing.
  • Auto-zero and adjustable breath-hold countdown.
  • Maximum reading held on display.
  • Store up to 100 test results within the monitor and view as table or graph.

NObreath NObreath

Airway Inflammation Monitoring

Measuring ENO with NObreath ENO Tester allows consistent, non-invasive measurement of expired breath nitric oxide (NO). This can be used as a marker for airway inflammation and on-going monitoring of treatment.1
