Passy-Muir (Aqua) Tracheostomy & Ventilator Swallowing and Speaking Valve The Passy-Muir PMV 007 (Aqua colored™) (15mm I.D. / 22mm O.D.) is designed to fit inside adult disposable ventilator tubing. Use of an adapter may be needed to adapt the PMV 007 to pediatric or various closed suctioning systems. The PMV 007 can also be used off the ventilator.

Passy-Muir Valve, Clear The Passy-Muir PMV 2000 (Clear) (15mm I.D. / 23mm O.D.) is lightweight and opens with even less resistance than the original PMVs. Its clear design and lower profile offers less visibility for the more ambulatory patient, although it can also be used in-line with mechanical ventilators in conjunction with non-disposable, flexible rubber tubing.

Passy-Muir Valve, Vent/Trach Spk Valve The Passy-Muir PMV 2001 (Purple) (15mm I.D. / 23mm O.D.) is identical to the PMV 2000 except for its color. This valve is bright purple to facilitate staff awareness that the patient is using a PMV. It can be used in-line with mechanical ventilation in conjunction with non-disposable, flexible rubber tubing.

Secure-It, pk/5 The PMV 2000, PMV 2001 and PMV 2020 are designed with a small ring that allows the PMV Secure-It™ to attach from the PMV to the trach tie to prevent valve loss. Each PMV 2000, PMV 2001 and PMV 2020 comes packaged with one PMV Secure-It™. The PMV Secure-It™ is also available in packets of five. Use of the PMV Secure-It™ is optional.
